James Michael Logan

February 4, 1955 — May 19, 2019

JAMES MICHAEL LOGAN WAS WELCOMED HOME INTO THE ARMS OF OUR LORD ON MAY 19TH 2019, AFTER A COURAGEOUS BATTLE WITH LUNG CANCER. James was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on February 4, 1955 to June (nee Perry) and George Logan. He was raised in West Deptford, NJ and later moved to Cherry Hill, NJ where he established “Best Drapery and Blind Manufacturing Company”. Our father, George and our step-mother, Anne taught James all he knows from the family business,” Logan Decorators” of Woodbury, NJ. James has serviced many adoring customers for the past thirty plus years in South Jersey and surrounding areas. James was a member of Kingsway Church in Cherry Hill NJ for over twenty years, and in recent years attended Cornerstone Calvary Chapel, in Howell, NJ. He so loved Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and dedicated much of his time, doing the Lord’s work ministering to several groups, including the Camden County Prison System and Faces of Change. He also was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. James is survived by his children Michael Logan of Cherry Hill, Justin Logan of Washington Township, and Lori Lynn Logan of Atlantic County, as well as; his sister Patricia Logan-Legin of Raleigh, NC, and brothers Danny Martin of Kentucky and Mario Masano of Mullica Hill, NJ. He also leaves behind his cats Socks and Seven. James will be sadly missed by his loving and dedicated brothers and sisters in Christ; who cared for him, prayed for him, and truly loved and supported him as he walked through this difficult path the past few months. I want to particularly acknowledge James’ girlfriend Fabiola, and friends Maria, Sharon, Tom & Trish, Maria and Jimmy, David, Dave, Vincent, Kenneth, Karl, Brian, Bill and many other friends and family. “When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” “Thank you all ~ James loves you, and you will see him again. Just look for the halo with the big smile and the mansion with the nicest window treatments!” (Tish) As James so often said, “…bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5) In lieu of flowers, please give generously to those in need in any way you can, in James Memory
