Aida Reyes Guzman, born on March 25, 1945, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Philadelphia, surrounded by her loving family. She was a cherished individual whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Aida's early years in Puerto Rico were filled with fond memories, shaped by her deep connection to her roots and culture. In pursuit of new opportunities, she later moved to Philadelphia, where she embraced life with open arms and an indomitable spirit. Throughout her life, Aida was recognized for her generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand and share a smile.

The legacy she leaves behind is one enriched by her compassion and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave but also for the countless moments of joy she created in the lives of those she encountered.

Aida’s family and friends will gather to celebrate her life during the visitation services at Compagnola Funeral Home - 5th Street, located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. The first visitation will take place on January 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by another gathering on January 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A burial service will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, located at 4301 N Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19140, starting at 11:30 AM.
