Anglade Ilmo Obituary:

With profound grief and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Anglade Ilmo on May 19, 2025 at the age of 59. Born on April 20, 1966, in Les Cayes, Haiti. She left behind a legacy of strength and love that will never be forgotten.

Anglade was the first daughter of Mr. Fucien Ilmo and Mrs. Marie A. Numa. She completed her primary education and secondary schooling at College Catherine Flon in Haiti. She moved to the United States in 1998. She studied nursing and graduated from PITC with pride in 2006. Her compassion for others had made her a model of inspiration.

Anglade had worked at Abramson Center for Jewish Life for over a decade and then at Beyada until her last breath. She was one of the most gregarious person in life. Her conviviality gave people security, companionship, acceptance, and a sense of belonging. She enjoyed being near her friends, loving every single moment she spent with them. Anglade valued hard work. She knew how to stay focused and engaged in the tasks at hand, no matter how ordinary or challenging it may seem. She embodied a variety of qualities that each contributed to her determination, diligence and discipline.

In 2013, Anglade decided to become a member of the Pentecostal family. She demonstrated her faith through prayer, reading Scripture, and seeking a life of service. She dedicated her talents and time to serve the Lord at: Centre d’Adoration Chretienne of Philadelphia until the day she ran towards her heavenly Father when she heard God’s unquestionable call to come home.

Her mission on earth was completed on May 19, 2025, but her legacy will continue through her lovable sons Diego and Michelange, and their father Delano Daphnis. Anglade is survived by her devoted younger sister, Marthe Ilmo and her daughter Hedwidg, her uncle/godfather Yvon, her nephews and nieces, her cousins and numerous in-laws, her church family and friends. Anglade’s passing has left a profound void on both her family and the community. We find comfort believing that she passed away with faith in her Savior and Lord Jesus-Christ.

Relatives and friends of Anglade are invited to Celebrate her life on Saturday June 14, 2025, at the First Haitian Church of God of Prophecy located at 199 E. Tabor Rd., Philadelphia, PA, 19120. Visitation hours are set to begin at 8:30 AM with a Liturgical service beginning at 10:00 AM concluding at around 11:30 AM.
