Brunilda Seguinot-Jimenez, 74, residing at 308 Vista Drive, Phoenixville, PA 19460 went to be with the Lord after a struggle with an aggressive cancer, at Season’s Hospice surrounded by her family/children Nilda I. Ruiz-Seguinot, and Octavio Ruiz-Seguinot, Jr.
Brunilda was a woman of faith, a woman of God. She accepted the Bible as the infallible word of God, believed in it’s promises, and accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of her life. God’s promise in the Bible is that Salvation is free and not by works but by faith, that “if you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”. (Rom 10:9) Mom believed in God, had a zeal for Him, and it came from a place of knowledge of righteousness not made by men but by God. “Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes” (Rom. 10:4).
Brunilda touched many lives for the better; she was authentic with no pretenses of who she was, she affected lives with her wisdom, good works, generosity and humor. She was full of love for people, and loved deeply those she cared for. She was the strong hold of our family and for many; she was the go-to person whenever we had a problem we could not solve. Today many recount how she touched our lives and the wisdom she imparted to be passed on through generations.
