Carlos Rodriguez Colon, born on August 17, 1954, in Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, in Landsdale, Pennsylvania. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.
Carlos was a man defined by his love for music and dance. Throughout his life, he found joy in the rhythms and melodies that surrounded him, often expressing himself through singing and dancing. He had a particular fondness for the sounds created by his favorite artists, Papo Luca, Willie Colon, and Tito Puente, each of whom inspired him and resonated with his spirited personality.
A celebration of Carlos's life will take place on June 23, 2025, at Magnolia Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring his memory during the burial service, which will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude with final honors at 1:30 PM. If you care to follow the funeral procession, please meet at Compagnola Funeral Home 4405 North 5th Street on June 23, 2025 at 12:15pm. We will depart the funeral home at 12:30pm for the burial.
