In loving Memory of Caroline Roman Belle
Carol Roman Belle, 60, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, departed this life on June 13, 2026.
Born on July 3, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Carol was a lifelong resident of the city. She is survived by her husband, BJ; son, Hamilton; grandchild, Nasir; great-grandchild, Nae’Lani; parents, Miriam and Jose Soto; her biological father, Gilberto Roman; her maternal brother, Paul; and paternal sister, Jessica. She is also remembered and lives on through a long list of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Carol received her education within the Philadelphia school district and graduated from Olney High School. She dedicated 40-plus years of her life to serving her community in financial services. She was a strong, dependable person who was humble in every aspect of life.
While Carol took pride in her work, her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted wife, exceptional mother, grandmother, and a dependable daughter and sister whose life revolved around the people she loved. She moved mountains for her family, ensuring that they always felt loved, supported, and provided for. If there was ever a family member in need, Carol was there to step in and take care of them.
Carol enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, and she especially loved her Philadelphia Eagles. Those who knew her best will remember her caring heart, her strength, her generosity, and how she always put the needs of others before her own. One thing about Carol is that everyone knew her joyful laugh and how she could shrug off whatever the world threw at her.
She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Gilbert Roman, who she will now join side by side as they always were in life.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, she will live on through all of those who she touched with her kindness and compassion.
