Cristino Cartagena Marrero, a dedicated and loving family man, was born on July 24, 1956, in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. He passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Cristino was known for his hard-working nature and for the warmth he brought to those around him. He was a devoted husband to Sonia Alicea and a proud father to his sons, Jose and Michael. His life was a testament to the importance of family, with deep ties and unwavering support for his loved ones.

A visitation to honor Cristino's memory will be held at Compagnola Funeral Home- 5th St. in Philadelphia on October 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on October 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Following the visitation, he will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery, with burial services beginning at 12:00 PM.
