Deaconess Martha Efua Arkoh, a beloved teacher and dedicated servant of the Lord, was born on March 24, 1954, in the Republic of Ghana. She passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA. Martha's life was defined by her unwavering faith, her commitment to education, and her profound love for her community.

Martha spent many years as a teacher and trainer for a college in Ghana, where she inspired countless students through her passion for knowledge and her nurturing spirit. Her career in education was marked by a dedication to empowering others and fostering a love of learning that extended beyond the classroom.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Martha was a deaconess at the Apostolic Church International in Newark, Delaware. For many years, she dedicated herself to serving the Lord and her congregation, embodying qualities of humility, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her presence in the church community was a source of strength and inspiration to many, and she was known for her loving demeanor and supportive nature.

Martha's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched during her time on this earth. Her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation in her honor will take place on July 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Apostolic Church International, located at 2046 Sunset Lake Rd, Newark, DE 19702. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.

Our beloved Martha will be laid to rest in her homeland of the Republic of Ghana.
