Erica J. Alicea Vazquez

Erica J. Alicea Vazquez, affectionately known as “Smooches,” was born on October 19, 1977, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Magnolia, New Jersey. Her life was marked by the quiet strength and dignity that those who knew her deeply admired.

Erica’s journey began in the city of Philadelphia, where she was welcomed into the world and raised with care and love. Throughout her life, she remained connected to her roots, embodying the spirit and resilience of her hometown.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share her sudden passing. Her loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Erica was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons, Aaron and Tristan, who were the center of her world and her greatest pride and joy. She gave them unconditional love, strength, and guidance.

She is survived by her mother, Iris, lovingly known as “Pudding,” and her father, Angel; her sisters, Johanna (Donnie) and Felicita (Kevin); her brother, Frederick (Darcel); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, her beloved furbabies, and many loving aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Aurora; her grandfather, Felix; her aunt, Maria; and her uncle, Nelson.

Erica shared a special bond with her family, and her presence brought warmth, laughter, and love into every room she entered. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family.

Though she is gone too soon, Erica’s spirit will live on in the hearts of her children, her family, and all who were blessed to know her. The memories she created will be treasured forever.
