Gregorio Perez Roman, affectionately known to those closest to him as Silvio, passed away on June 11, 2026, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Born on May 12, 1938, in the tranquil town of Camuy, Puerto Rico, Gregorio’s journey was one filled with love, faith, and an enduring lightness of spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
A fun-loving husband and father, Gregorio’s life was marked by a devotion not only to his family but deeply anchored in his faith. His proudest accomplishment was his unwavering dedication to the church—a testament to a spirit that found solace and strength through prayer and a community bound by shared belief. His love of fishing mirrored the tranquil patience he brought to life, moments spent casting lines like gentle prayers floated upon still waters.
Anyone fortunate enough to hear Gregorio laugh knows it as a cherished memory, a warm, joyful sound that lingered long after the moment had passed, lighting up rooms and hearts alike. His laugh was more than just a sound—it was the embodiment of a life lived openly and joyously.
