Obituary:

Javel (Howard) Mantilla was born in Isabella, Puerto Rico on November 14, 1956. He was the son of Elpidia Muniz and Rafael Mantilla. He was a kind and humble man and was loved by many. Howard, as he was affectionally known, survived by Theresa Marie (only daughter), grandchildren: Jose, Erin, Justin and Alicia; and great-grandchildren: Savannah, Serianna and Amiyah. Siblings: Iris, Juan Ramon, Elsa, Rafael Jr., Sarah, Juan Alberto, and Luis Angel. There are lots of other friends and family too many to mention that will miss Howard and remember all the “Fun” times.

As I sit in heaven

And watch you every day

I will try to let you know with signs

I never went away.

I hear you when you’re laughing

And watch you as you weep.

I see you wish the days away,

Begging to have me home.

So, I try to send you signs,

So, you know you’re not alone,

don’t feel guilty that you live without me;

HEAVEN IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL

Just wait and see.

So Live your life and laugh again,

Enjoy your life and be free.

Then I’ll know with every breath you take,
