Javel Mantilla, born on November 14, 1956, in Isabela, Puerto Rico, peacefully passed away on May 6, 2026, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. His story is one of perseverance and quiet contribution, reflected in the respect he earned from his community and those around him.  The final services to honor Javel’s life will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On May 13, 2026, family, friends, and all who were touched by Javel's presence will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Compagnola Funeral Home-5th St., located at 4405-07 North 5th Street.  Following the viewing, a prayer service will commence at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m. at the same location, offering a time for reflection and solace. The respectful remembrance of Javel’s life will culminate with a burial at Greenmount Cemetery, 4301 N Front Street, Philadelphia, beginning at 12:30 p.m.  Javel Mantilla's legacy exists quietly in the hearts of those who knew him, a testament to a life lived with steadfast commitment and honor. Javel Mantilla, nacido el 14 de noviembre de 1956 en Isabela, Puerto Rico, falleció pacíficamente el 6 de mayo de 2026 en Atlantic City, Nueva Jersey. Con una vida marcada por la serena dignidad y fortaleza, el fallecimiento de Javel es profundamente lamentado por todos los que lo conocieron. Su vida comenzó en la vibrante ciudad de Isabela, donde pasó sus primeros años antes de emigrar a los Estados Unidos. Su historia es un ejemplo de perseverancia y contribución discreta, reflejada en el respeto que se ganó de su comunidad y de quienes lo rodeaban. El funeral en honor a Javel se llevará a cabo en Filadelfia, Pensilvania. El 13 de mayo de 2026, familiares, amigos y todos aquellos que fueron tocados por la presencia de Javel tendrán la oportunidad de presentar sus respetos durante el velorio, que se realizará de 9:00 a 11:00 a. m. en la Funeraria Compagnola-5th St., ubicada en 4405-07 North 5th Street. Tras el velatorio, se celebrará un servicio religioso a las 11:00 h en el mismo lugar, que concluirá a las 11:30 h, ofreciendo un momento de reflexión y consuelo. El respetuoso homenaje a la vida de Javel culminará con su entierro en el cementerio Greenmount, ubicado en 4301 N Front Street, Filadelfia, a partir de las 12:30 h.
