Lissette Alvarez Vargas

Lissette Alvarez Vargas, born on January 22, 1968, in Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Known for her loving nature and spirit, Lissette touched the lives of many during her time on this earth.

Lissette was a dedicated mother to her five sons: Angel, Victor, Anthony, Gerardo, and Giovanni. She poured her love and support into her family, demonstrating unwavering strength and resilience throughout her life. Her bond with her sons was profound, as she instilled in them values that would guide them through their journeys.

She was also deeply cherished by her loving partner, Angel Figueroa, with whom she shared 25 years of companionship. Together, they built memories filled with joy and laughter, and Lissette's warmth and kindness were a pillar in their relationship.

A visitation will be held in her honor on October 11, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. Following the visitation, a burial service will take place at Greenmount Cemetery, starting at 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, at 4301 N Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Lissette will be remembered for her nurturing heart and her dedication to her family. Her legacy will live on through the love she imparted and the lives she influenced.
