Luis De Jesus

Luis De Jesus passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 89.

Born on July 3, 1937, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Luis carried with him the spirit of his birthplace throughout his life. He will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him, and his passing marks the loss of a beloved presence whose life spanned nearly nine decades.

Family and friends are invited to gather in his memory during visitation on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 2947 Mutter St, Philadelphia, PA 19133. A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., also at 2947 Mutter St, Philadelphia, PA 19133.

Burial will follow on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery, 4301 N Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Luis De Jesús falleció el 11 de septiembre de 2026, a los 89 años. 

Nacido el 3 de julio de 1937 en Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Luis llevó consigo el espíritu de su lugar de nacimiento a lo largo de toda su vida. Será recordado con respeto y afecto por quienes lo conocieron, y su fallecimiento marca la pérdida de una presencia querida cuya vida abarcó casi nueve décadas. 

Se invita a familiares y amigos a reunirse en su memoria durante la velatoria el jueves 24 de septiembre de 2026, de 17:00 a 22:00 en 2947 Mutter St, Filadelfia, PA 19133. Una segunda visita tendrá lugar el viernes 25 de septiembre de 2026, de 9:00 a 12:00, también en 2947 Mutter St, Filadelfia, PA 19133. 

El entierro tendrá lugar el viernes 25 de septiembre de 2026, de 12:00 a 13:00 en el cementerio Greenmount, 4301 N Front St, Filadelfia, PA 19140.
