It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Gutierrez Narvaez on December 19, 2023, in Bryn Mawr, PA. Maria was a beloved individual who touched the lives of many with her kind heart and spirited personality.

Born on January 13, 1950, in Peru, Maria's journey brought her to the United States where she embraced life with open arms. Her warm and lovable nature made her easy to approach and form lasting friendships.

Family meant everything to Maria. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and loyal friend. Her presence at family gatherings brought joy and laughter to all. Memories of celebrations filled with delicious food and heartfelt conversations will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have shared those moments with her.

Friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects during visitation services at Compagnola Funeral Home- 5th St., located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. The first visitation service will take place on January 3, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A second visitation service will be held on January 4, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.

A burial ceremony will follow the visitation services at Greenmount Cemetery, situated at 4301 N Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19140. The burial service will begin at 11:00 AM on January 4, 2024.

Maria Gutierrez Narvaez's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered as an exceptional individual who brought endless joy to the lives she touched.
