In Loving Memory of Paula Vega-Pasco, Ayala, Camacho, Millan, Sanchez

January 1, 1945 – October 14, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Paula Vega-Pasco, Ayala, Camacho, Millan, Sanchez, who peacefully passed away in her sleep on October 14, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage IV colon cancer. The cancer metastasized to her liver and lungs before eventually spreading throughout her body.

Despite the challenges she faced, Paula remained a source of joy, strength, faith, and inspiration to those around her. Her family and medical teams worked tirelessly to ensure her comfort and care throughout her illness. We are deeply grateful to the compassionate teams at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Mercado Medical Practice, and Penn Medicine for their dedication and support during her final chapter of life.

Paula was so much more than a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a devoted wife, aunt, cousin, mentor, gifted singer, and a faithful servant of God. For more than 39 years, she served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Iglesia Roca de Salvación, where she became a cherished pillar of her Pentecostal church community. Through her unwavering faith, dedication, and love for the Lord Jesus Christ, she touched countless lives and left a lasting spiritual legacy.

A retired seamstress from After Six, Paula was known for her strength, perseverance, and the warmth she brought into every room. She lived her life with a joyful spirit, a generous heart, and a steadfast devotion to her family, her church, and her faith. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she nurtured, the lessons she taught, the songs she sang, and the love she shared.

Paula was the beloved mother of Santos Medina Jr., Karie Lynn Medina, and Daniel Pasco, and the proud grandmother of Johnathan Andrew Medina and Joseph Nicholas Medina. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hector Fernando Vega, and was formerly married to Petty Officer First Class Noel J. Pasco and Santos Medina Sr. She was the cherished daughter of Pablo Ayala Camacho and Isolina Millan-Sanchez.

Above all, Paula was a child of God who lived a blessed life devoted to serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her faith, love, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and church community.

We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord she loved and served so faithfully.

With our deepest sorrow, we thank everyone for their prayers, love, condolences, and support during this difficult time. Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn her passing and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.

Rest peacefully, Paula. Your love, faith, and light will never be forgotten. Until we meet again in God's heavenly kingdom.🙏🕊️
