Rev. Andrés Fuentes, a true Man of Faith and a dedicated servant, went to meet his Creator on Sunday on October 29, 2023, at the age of 89 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Born on September 27, 1934 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
He devoted over 50 years of his life to the ministry and pastored in Philadelphia, leaving an indelible impact on the community he served. Rev. Fuentes, journey in spreading love, hope, and faith began many decades ago. His unwavering commitment to his congregation and the wider community was evident in every aspect of his life. As a compassionate shepherd and devoted spiritual leader, he sought to guide and uplift those who sought solace in their darkest moments.
Throughout his tenure as a pastor in Philadelphia, Rev. Fuentes demonstrated exceptional dedication to fostering unity and understanding among diverse groups. To honor the life and legacy of Rev. Andrés Fuentes, a Visitation will take place on November 8, 2023, at Primera Iglesia Cristiana Misionera in Philadelphia. The visitation will begin at 9:30 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM, providing an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to pay their respects.
Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. During this time, attendees will have the chance to share memories and stories that highlight the impact Rev. Fuentes had on their lives.
The final service, a Burial ceremony, will commence at 1:45 PM on November 8th, 2023 at Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia. It is here that we bid our beloved Reverend farewell as he rests in eternal peace.
