Rosaline Lopez

𝓦ith deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Rosaline Lopez, which occurred on July 13, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 67. 

Rosaline Lopez was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew her. She created a warm and nurturing environment for her family and friends in the city she called home her entire life. Rosaline (née Raspaldo) was born on March 12, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Victor Raspaldo and Virginmina Antonetti, daughter of Nicasia Beltran.

"Mrs. Lopez" as she was known by her students, dedicated many years to working with the school district where she made an indelible impact on their lives. Known for her grace, compassion, kind-hearted nature and ability to connect with others, she would always lend a listening ear and helping hand to those in need. As the beloved wife of Hector "Tony" Manuel Lopez and a caring mother to "Little Tony" and "Angie", love for family was the cornerstone of Rosaline's life. She cherished every single moment spent with her grandchildren, as well.

Rosaline's life will be honored during a visitation service on July 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA, 19140. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of her life, sharing memories that encapsulate the joy and love she brought into the world.

Rosaline is survived by her two children Hector Anthony Lopez, Sr. and Angelic Lopez, son-in-law Michael Rivera, grandson Hector A. Lopez, Jr., twin granddaughters Michelle and Emily Rivera and her loving sister Cathy Capo in addition to the many nephews, nieces, aunts & cousins who loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the great privilege of knowing her.
