Santos Enriquez

It is with deep respect and solemn remembrance that we announce the passing of Santos Enriquez, a dedicated craftsman and cherished member of the Philadelphia community, who departed this life on March 27, 2026. Born on March 24, 1937, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Santos lived a life marked by artistry, skill, and a profound connection to both his heritage and his passions. Santos built a remarkable career in upholstery, where his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality left a lasting impression on all who admired his work. Beyond his professional life, he was known as a devoted musician, enriching the lives of those around him with the gift of music—a testament to his vibrant spirit and artistic soul. His final days were spent in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he made his home and where his journey ultimately drew to a close. The community that embraced him now honors his memory with heartfelt ceremonies. A viewing will be held on April 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Compagnola Funeral Home on North 5th Street. This will be followed by a prayer service from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the same location, allowing family, friends, and all whose lives he touched to come together in reflection and gratitude.  The day will conclude with a burial at Greenmount Cemetery, beginning at 12:00 p.m., where Santos will be laid to rest in peaceful repose.  Santos Enriquez’s life story is one of craftsmanship, musical passion, and enduring dedication. His legacy will continue to resonate through the beautiful work he created and the harmonious notes he shared. Those who knew him will remember a man of great talent and gentle presence, whose contributions enriched his community and whose memory will be honored by all who had the privilege to know him.  As we bid farewell with respect and admiration, we hold Santos Enriquez in our hearts, grateful for the life he led and the lasting impact he leaves behind.

Con profundo respeto y solemne recuerdo, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Santos Enriquez, un artesano dedicado y querido miembro de la comunidad de Filadelfia, quien partió de este mundo el 27 de marzo de 2026. Nacido el 24 de marzo de 1937 en Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Santos vivió una vida marcada por el arte, la habilidad y una profunda conexión con su herencia y sus pasiones. Santos forjó una destacada carrera en tapicería, donde su meticulosa atención al detalle y su compromiso con la calidad dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que admiraron su trabajo. Más allá de su vida profesional, fue conocido como un músico entregado, enriqueciendo la vida de quienes lo rodeaban con el don de la música, testimonio de su espíritu vibrante y alma artística. Sus últimos días transcurrieron en la ciudad de Filadelfia, Pensilvania, donde estableció su hogar y donde finalmente concluyó su vida. La comunidad que lo acogió honra ahora su memoria con sentidas ceremonias. El velorio se llevará a cabo el 8 de abril de 2026, de 9:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m., en la Funeraria Compagnola, ubicada en North 5th Street. Posteriormente, se realizará un servicio religioso de 11:00 a. m. a 11:30 a. m. en el mismo lugar, para que familiares, amigos y todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó se reúnan en reflexión y gratitud. El día concluirá con el entierro en el Cementerio Greenmount, a partir de las 12:00 p. m., donde Santos descansará en paz. La vida de Santos Enriquez fue un ejemplo de maestría, pasión musical y dedicación inquebrantable. Su legado perdurará a través de la hermosa obra que creó y las armoniosas melodías que compartió. Quienes lo conocieron recordarán a un hombre de gran talento y presencia amable, cuyas contribuciones enriquecieron a su comunidad y cuya memoria será honrada por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Al despedirnos con respeto y admiración, llevamos a Santos Enriquez en nuestros corazones, agradecidos por la vida que vivió y el legado que deja.
