Wenceslao Aviles

Wenceslao Aviles passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born on July 7, 1930, in Puerto Rico, Wenceslao lived a long life that spanned nearly a century. He will be remembered with respect and affection by those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will remain a lasting presence in the hearts of all who mourn his passing.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on September 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Compagnola Funeral Home–5th St., 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. A prayer service will be held there the same day from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Burial will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at New Cathedral Cemetery, 3900 N Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
